We knew we had to do something different for marketing Deadpool, a comic book movie about a sarcastic antihero. We created ClickPooler.com, a “clickbait” website with sensational headlines to fool unsuspecting victims on social media. When someone landed on the website, they were informed they had been tricked and were given the option to share a new randomly generated clickbait headline.
